With limited natural resources, Uruguay seeks to reduce its dependence on imported fossil fuels by increasing domestic energy sources, primarily biomass and wind energy, whilst implementing efficiency measures. The government aims to leverage this energy sector growth to boost the economy and create jobs.

"By noon, the sun was scorching. Come evening, clouds appeared in the southwest - signalling weather changes. The PAMPERO typically brings a three-day tempest, predictable by mercury depression. Pampero is a hand-management, card-driven game where players use eight starting cards on their tableau's two rows to activate board actions. Players can either play a card to the leftmost empty space or retrieve all cards. After three actions, consolidation occurs - players retrieve the rightmost card, generate batteries from stored energy, collect income, and advance the timer. The highest money holder wins.
